Yahoo! SiteExplorer hack
I really, really was shocked when Yahoo! site explorer come out. All my programmed tools falled on their faces and were broken. The only reliable source for back link information was dead.
Luckily many tools like SEO toolbar for FF was updated quickly. At first - MSN was included, then also yahoo update come. Unfortunatelly Yahoo have some errors showing direct links to page. I mean not Yahoo but toolbar don’t know how to display information correctly. Command: linkdomain is working perfect.
Anyway, what rised my eyebrows was the fact how this data was received.
Simple little hack!
While entering querys with site: link: linkdomain: would take you to site explorer (and ask for logging in), you can use little trick
site: -something
the something musth be something stupid that wont influence your results, for example: -ewiruweioruwioe023u4weri and you will STAY in Yahoo! search and wont be redirected to the annoying SiteExplorer.
Bingo, thats what I want, old tools working as usually!
