WP for SEO
I was thinking, what one should do to gain maximum benefits from SEO as well as avoiding any penalties or kicks in the butt area from major search engines…
First thing turned out is to - not to publish whole post on the same page. Simply no need for that. Why publish whole post on front page and then have link to seperate page. It’s not doing much of a good. The same content in at 3 places: homepage, category page and individual page.
- So this makes logically me to publish only preview on categories and main page.
- Mix posts between categories so preview snippets don’t duplicates with category snippets.
- And of course - to have full article in the article only page. What I’m missing currently is probably right hand menu as it could improve internal linking. But thats a different story.
